Runs & Queue

Review Queue

The answers most likely to need a look are at the top — the Review answers tab still lists every one. These are answers the computer wasn't sure about. What the notes mean:
  • Nothing found — the question wasn't asked, or no answer turned up in the transcript
  • Unclear — there's an answer, but it's fuzzy or could mean a couple of things
  • Best guess — the computer guessed from context; double-check it matches what was said
  • Please check — the computer flagged this one for your judgment
  • Number looks off — a rating came out outside the expected 1–10 range
For each one: Confirm Answer if the text is right, Mark Not Asked if the question wasn't asked in this interview, or edit the answer before confirming.

Answers

Pick a respondent above to review their answers. Click any answer to edit it. Use Confirm Answer when an answer looks correct so it's marked reviewed.

Outreach Settings

These emails come from this person, and replies go back to the reply-to address.

Pick an interviewer above, or type any address. This is the mailbox the emails send from and land back in.
Follows the From email unless you change it.
Pick an interviewer & meeting type above (recommended), or paste a booking link — inserted wherever an email says Scheduling link.
Copy an existing interview to inherit its hours, buffers, notice and questions — only the name changes.
Created on the From-email person's calendar, bookable Mon–Fri 9–5, with the guest choosing Zoom or phone. Fine-tune it any time at book.mayfld.co/app.
Added to every email. Each contact's own point-of-contact is CC'd automatically too.

Automatic outreach

Using the standard phrase “over the next two weeks”. That's a choice, not a rule — change it if your timeline is different.
A few words describing when you're wrapping up interviews. It gets dropped into the sentence below — so write it to read naturally after "available" / "wrapping up our interviews".
Where it appears
…If you have just 10-15 minutes available over the next two weeks we would love to hear from you…
…We are wrapping up our interviews over the next two weeks and would appreciate the chance to talk…
Every email waits in Ready to send for you to review and send — nothing goes out on its own. Unattended sending is switched on by Bryce at the server, deliberately not from here.

Outreach (for emailing contacts)

Optional now — but outreach stays blocked until these are set. You can also fill them later in Settings.

The mailbox these emails send from. A booking link created below lands on this person's calendar.
Copy an existing interview to inherit its hours, buffers, notice and questions — only the name the recipient sees changes. Kept off the public page either way; fine-tune at book.mayfld.co/app.

Add Question

Mark questions whose answers should be exported for analysis. Equivalent to ?* in interview guide.
Shows as “Closing” instead of a number and always sorts to the bottom of each segment. Reports still number it.
Click to toggle category assignments for this question.
Per-question theme tags for coding answers (e.g., "Price", "Quality"). Manage in Answers tab.

Upload Interview Guide

Expected format: Word document (.docx) with numbered questions.
  • Number questions like 1., 2., 3. — sub-questions use 2.1, 2.2
  • Mark quantifiable questions with ?* at the end — e.g., "How many providers do you use?*" — these appear in the Quant CSV export
  • Bullet points directly below a question become its answer classifications (scale values, multiple-choice options — include "Don't know" / "Can't say" bullets where appropriate). Open-ended questions simply have no bullets.
  • Sections are detected from heading-style lines (e.g. "1. Background") that precede the numbered questions
  • Segments: upload ONE guide containing everything. If it has a "Ask the following of only the specific segment noted" divider with bold segment headers we'll split it up for you — and you get to check and fix the result before anything is saved

✋ Upload answers (not recorded)

For interviews that weren't recorded: upload the interview guide with the answers typed in — each answer written right after its question. The answers are saved as this person's hand-entered responses (no AI involved) and appear in the reports immediately. You can still edit them in Review answers.

Drop the answered guide (.docx) or click to browse

Identify who is the interviewer and who is the respondent. The system auto-detects common labels ("You", "Interviewer", the respondent's name, etc.) — verify the sample below looks correct before proceeding. Any speaker left unmapped or marked Other/Unknown will be treated as a secondary respondent voice.

We'll still try to pull the questions and answers out of the notes.
